IP70 Network Camera

The VideoMate IP70 is an IP surveillance camera by Compro technology which is

equipped with day/night functions. It features a cluster of IR LEDs built in

that allow it to be used even in dimly lit areas and poor lighting conditions.

Light sensors as they're called, adjust themselves according to the ambient

lighting to give a clear view of the area. This IP camera is consolidated with

dual H.264 and MJPEG streams to deliver  high quality  images.  As an optional

accessory, Compro WL 155 USB provides 802.11 b/g/n connectivity thus making your

work easier. The built-in microphone and speaker allow two-way audio support

thus allowing remote listening.

There's a user friendly application that accompanies the camera, and is

pretty easy to install. It's a universal application that can recognize all

varieties of Compro IP surveillance cameras. The application supports up to 32

screens in one go, meaning you could setup a complete network of such cameras

and monitor all of them from one screen. The application supports several

interesting features including motion detection, face detection, automatic

recording, screen capturing, etc..

Bottomline: A surveillance camera with good resolution, feature rich

software, and excellent viewing even in dimly lit areas. A good buy overall.
