The iQoo 12 and iQoo 12 Pro will be released next week, and the Vivo sub-brand is actively sharing photographs online to tease the whole look of the future devices. While we await the formal announcement, detailed specifications for the iQoo 12 series have leaked online via alleged marketing posters. They are expected to have 6.78-inch panels with 144Hz refresh rates and triple 50-megapixel rear cameras. They could run Google's latest Android 14 and support 120W wired charging. The iQoo 12 series has previously been revealed to include Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

Several tipsters shared on Weibo (via @yabhishekhd) claimed marketing posters for the iQoo 12 and iQoo 12 Pro, showing their entire specifications. According to the source, the iQoo 12 series would launch with Android 14 and 6.78-inch displays with a refresh rate of 144Hz. The Samsung E7 AMOLED panel of the iQoo 12 Pro is touted to have 2K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 2700nits peak brightness, and 1440Hz PWM dimming. The BOE OLED display on the iQoo 12 will boast 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 3000nits peak brightness, and 2160Hz PWM dimming.

The iQoo 12 series could get a triple back camera unit with a 50-megapixel primary OmniVision OV50H sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), another 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 64-megapixel OV64B telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom capabilities. Both iQoo 12 and iQoo 12 Pro models could have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. They will almost certainly include an in-display fingerprint scanner. The iQoo Pro model may have an IP68 water-resistant rating, whereas the vanilla variant may have an IP64 rating. According to reports, connectivity options include an IR blaster, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and Wi-Fi 7.

The iQoo 12 Pro is said to include a 5,100mAh battery with 120W wired charging capabilities. In contrast, the iQoo 12 could get a 5,000mAh battery with 120W cable charging capabilities. They will very certainly include dual stereo speakers as well. For gaming, they may get an X-axis linear motor and 4D vibration.

The iQoo 12 and iQoo 12 Pro will be available on 7 November. The launch will take place in China at 7 pm local time (4:30 pm IST). The new series will be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. iQoo 12 and iQoo 12 Pro are expected to be available in black, red, and white.
