The iQoo 12 phone series is likely to be released later this year. The iQoo 11 and iQoo 11 Pro are scheduled to be replaced by the new series. The phones were released in China in December 2022, with octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoCs and support for proprietary fast charging solutions. Previous reports disclosed some of the iQoo 12 base model's specifications. A new leak offers essential characteristics for both alleged iQoo 12 series handsets, including display, camera, charging, and processor information.
In a Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) reported that the iQoo 12 series will include a Samsung E7 AMOLED display with a resolution of 2K and a refresh rate of 144Hz. According to the source, the iQoo 12 phone series is believed to have metal bodies.

According to the leak, the suspected quad camera unit of the iQoo 12 series would have a 50-megapixel OV50H primary sensor and a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope lens. The telephoto, ultra-wide-angle, and front camera sensors are yet to be shown.
The base model will include a 5,000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging capabilities. According to the leak, the iQoo 12 Pro model may offer 200W wired fast charging. The iQoo 12 phone series phones also have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C 3.x port.
Previous rumours stated that the iQoo 12 range would be powered by an unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with an Adreno 750 GPU, up to 24GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. It is planned to arrive with the Origin OS based on Android 14.
