iQoo announced in a Weibo post that the iQoo Neo 9 series will be available in December of this year. The announcement teased one of the iQoo Neo 9 versions with a red and white dual-tone design. The iQoo Neo 9 series phone has an IR blaster on the top edge, volume rockers and a power button on the left edge.

 iQoo Neo 9 series: To come with a twin rear camera set

The photo shows the iQoo Neo 9 variant with a twin rear camera set. The sensors are set vertically in two independent rectangular holes with rounded corners on the top left corner of the back panel. The iQoo Neo 9 series handset's name is inscribed below the camera units, and the brand name appears in the bottom left corner.

Meanwhile, according to MySmartPrice, the future iQoo 9 Pro model with model number V2339A has been seen on China's 3C certification site. The listing indicates that the phone, like the previous model, will allow up to 120W wired charging. According to the research, the chargers with model numbers V12060L0A0-CN and V12060L1A0-CN may deliver output at 15W, 18W, 66W, and 120W. They are also reported to offer USB Power Delivery outputs of 15W, 27W, 36W, 45W, and 100W, as well as PPS charging of up to 100W.

iQoo Neo 9: Specifications

According to an earlier leak, the base iQoo Neo 9 will have a 6.78-inch display. According to another leak, one of the iQoo Neo 9 variants will likely include a 1.49-inch Sony IMX920 50-megapixel primary rear camera sensor. The base iQoo Neo 9 is claimed to have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the iQoo Neo 9 Pro is expected to ship with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. Depending on location, the models will launch with Android 14-based FunTouchOS 14 or OriginOS 4.

The iQoo Neo 8 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, while a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset powers the Neo 8 Pro. The iQoo Neo 9 phones have 6.78-inch 1.5K (2800 x 1260 pixel) AMOLED displays and 5,000mAh batteries with 120W fast charging.

Both iQoo Neo 8 models include 16-megapixel front camera sensors. The camera unit on the base model has a 50 megapixel primary sensor and a 2 megapixel secondary sensor at the back, while the iQoo Neo 8 Pro has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX866V main sensor. iQoo Neo 8 Pro also has an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens.

The iQoo Neo 8 series models are offered in three colour schemes: Night Rock, Match Point, and Surf. During its initial debut, the vanilla model was priced at CNY 2,499 (about Rs. 29,300) for its 12GB + 256GB edition, while the iQoo Neo 8 Pro was priced at CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 38,700) for its 16GB + 256GB option.
