Based in India, Isgec Heavy Engineering Ltd is a diversified multinational company that was founded in 1933. The company is a Rs. 2434 crore multi-product, multi-location public company providing engineering products to customers across 76 countries.
Few months ago, the company witnessed a massive employee attrition rate of 10-15 per cent. Due to the reduction in manpower, they needed an improvement in the productivity of employees, their engagement and compliance to regulations. They needed a competitive advantage on employee data security, privacy and lucidity in the PMS system.
Naresh Pathak, Head – IT & Systems implemented a unique HRMS application platform. He evaluated many
solutions (both Capex and Opex model) and finally chose an application in Capex model from People Strong which covers the following: employee self-service portal, employee dossier, leave management platform, claim management platform, web helpdesk platform and many more internal processes.
With an experience of 12 years as a CIO, Pathak is handling an internal team of 30 members in his organization and is endowed with mammoth expertise in IT Strategy & planning, Business Process Automation, IT Governance, ERP (SAP, NAV, Oracle & LN FP7), CRM, eCommerce, Information Security, project management and cost control. As an intelligent professional he is also an expert in dealing with complete System Development Life Cycle from requirements gathering to implementation.
Pathak has the capability to relate to people at any stage of business and management because he is a superb communicator, holding inimitable relationship management dexterity. He is also known for admirable team crafting talent with a proven knack in planning and managing resources. Pathak has also taken a unique CSR initiative that has created health awareness amongst employees, peer CIOs and set up numerous forums to support the same.
He holds a degree from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad and joined Manya Education Pvt. Ltd in October 2014. He worked there for 11 months and worked in various fields like IT Strategy and Technology Roadmaps, Information Security, Compliance and Risk Management, Infrastructure and communication, ERP, CRM, HRIS and Mobile application development and implementation, Budgeting & Cost Control and most importantly Vendor Development.
