The Solution: KSNDMC maintained the entire data in spread sheets which took up processing time. The DMC needs to process 62016 records every day which adds up to more than 2 crores annually, an automatic system was needed to collect data collected. To manage this volume of data manually, KSNDMC staff needs to be in office 24 X 7.

The Result: After the automation KSNDMC officials need not be available in office for the processing. Using this automated application user reports is sent to the designated officers at 11:00 am daily without any user intervention.

KSNDMC is now able to send early warning text messages to the administrators using the automated application based on the processed rainfall in last 15 mins, 1 hour and last 24 hours.
