New Update

Lenovo India has unveiled its Vibe Z smartphone in the country which will be available later this month. Vibe Z is the second Vibe device to be launched in the country after Vibe X which made its way to the market earlier this year.

Vibe Z is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone that runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out-of-the box. It sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1920x1080) IPS display coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which makes it conducive for rough and sturdy use.

For a 5.5 inch device the Vibe Z weighs only 145 grams that makes it light on hands and its dimension strengthens our belief. The Vibe Z packs a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, the same chipset which powers the likes of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Sony Xperia Z1 among others. With this variant, the smartphone comes with 4G LTE connectivity support. Clubbed with the chipset you have a 2 GB RAM and Adreno 330 GPU for graphics capability.

It comes fitted with a 13 MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5 MP front-facing snapper for video calling. However, it must be said that with 16 GB non-expandable storage and no microSD slot for more space the Vibe Z becomes quite pricey even if we take the top end hardware into account.

The phone is loaded with a 3000 mAh battery which should come through a day on single charge. Priced at Rs 35,999 the Vibe Z stands among the likes of Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z and HTC One among others in the market.
