The monitor can’t be used for watching television or connecting to your PC. There’s no e-mail client either–so you can only access Web-based e-mail. You can’t download software from the Internet. You can’t save attachments, but only view them if they’re in plain text, audio, video, or HTML formats. You can’t transfer any data to another PC either. You can however hook up a printer on its parallel or USB ports, and take printouts of Web pages.

The monitor has four hot keys that have been configured for accessing Yahoo, MSN, CNN and Ebay websites. You can configure these to go to websites of your own choice. The monitor also comes with a PS/2 keyboard and mouse for entering URLs and browsing the Net.

The monitor can stream audio files, which can be listened to on the built-in speakers. It is priced at Rs 30,000.
