How portable is the TV, exactly?

The StanbyMe Go is a portable display and entertainment center that fits neatly inside of a luggage. The 27-inch, 1080p LED screen is mounted on a swivel, allowing you to lift it, set it at an angle, use it as a table, and then fold it back up.

The included 20-watt speaker adapts to screen rotation and offers surround sound with Dolby Atmos, as well as Dolby Vision technology, according to LG. Inside the case there are compartments for accessories and an already built-in battery.

As for battery life, viewing time between charges is about three hours. It has an HDMI input so you can plug in a games console if there's another power source nearby, and it can display content from Apple devices via AirPlay. A built-in app store offers access to board games like chess and streaming apps like Netflix, Disney Plus, Prime Video and Max.

"Viewing content is no longer limited to the living room or even the home, but until now consumers have had to sacrifice screen size for portability," said David Park, director of product marketing at LG HE, in a press release.

Availability

The StanbyMe Go is available for pre-order on LG's website for $1,000. If you order a new portable touchscreen before August 27, you'll get a free XBoom 360 Bluetooth speaker valued at $200. However, the device is not yet available globally.

Which LG TV is the best in the industry?

With incredible picture quality and a wide range of A/V and gaming features, the LG C3 OLED is one of the best all-in-one TVs you can buy. It's a more powerful TV than our top pick, the LG C2, but its high price keeps it top, while the C2 is available at deep discounts.
