Logitech UE BoomBox Bluetooth Speaker

New Update

Logitech bought Ultimate Ears a few years back, and now the UE brand is being expanded into a speaker line. This is one of the first speakers systems to bear the company's joint moniker after Logitech acquired Ultimate Ears. It has an admirable look with a solid handle which is a piece of aluminium running from one end of the boombox to the other and going around the edges of the end panels. These panels are blue with some controls on, and are concave, so that the buttons are hidden when you look at it from the front. Though it has a sleek, minimal design that combines simplicity and solid construction but they still are quite heavy to carry around. A large bluetooth connect button is given at the top to put the speaker in pairing mode, a simple power switch, a 3.5mm auxiliary input port to connect external devices, and a power port on the bottom to recharge the battery. Controls to pair a bluetooth-enabled device are simple enough and very similar to other bluetooth speakers. The UE boombox supports up to three simultaneous bluetooth sources at a time, so you can easily connect your iPad, iPhone, and laptop and simply toggle the playback across them. The music output is smooth and distortion-free, throughout every volume level and all genres of music. Overall, this is a speaker that you can use in your livinig room or for an outdoor party or picnic. The battery life is decent enough and gave us around 5-6 hours of playback.
