New Update

This is the new super-zoom digital camera from Panasonic. Lumix DMC-FZ200 comes with very little upgrades from its predecessor FZ150. It keeps its predecessor's relatively modest 24x zoom which is way behind 50x Canon SX50 HS, 42x Nikon P510 ,Sony HX200V (30x) and the Fujifilm HS30EXR (also 30x) but the spec that makes this FZ200 score more then others is its f/2.8 aperture throughout the zoom range which is pretty impressive, so the lens on the FZ200 is a huge improvement, and the extra brightness should make a real difference at long focal lengths and in poor light, allowing you to shoot at lower, less noisy ISO settings.

The Leica-badged lens is the number one head-turner on the FZ200. Also FZ 200 has a buit in image stabilization system , which will allow you to shoot at slower shutter speeds and longer focal lengths without suffering from image blur caused by camera shake. In the video mode, it shoots 1080p at

up to 50fps, 30-minute clip lengths. Video quality is good.

Slow motion shooting has been significantly upgraded, capturing at 720p, 100fps for quarter-speed playback at 25fps. Most cameras' slow motion modes capture at much lower resolutions.
