The Problem: With each department at Mangla Engineering working in silos, along with the fact that many of the processes were done manually, there was a lot of time, effort, and productivity loss in getting things done. The tasks such as retrieving reports from each department were lengthy and tedious.

The Solution: To overcome this problem, Mangla Engineering decided to implement iON in the organization to automate and integrate all departments of the company to a single platform. They decided to opt for of all modules of iON i.e. Manufacturing, HRMS, F&A, and Quality. Besides this, they also implemented Biometric solution for HRMS. Furthermore, in the manufacturing part of the business procurement, stores, sales, production & quality modules got automated. The challenges that they faced comprised of issues such as educating users regarding iON ERP, hardware & software up gradation, and managing a dual working system.

The Result: As per Mangla Engineering, due to the iON implementation, they can now easily indentify sub-contracting material requirement and scrap management on subcontract locations. Also, they saw a productivity increase around 30 to 40% because of material management, and better management of human assets. They say that now there is no need to manage bulk amount of paper-based documents, and can now retrieve all type of data directly through the system, anytime and anywhere. Apart from this, they also are happy about the fact that technical knowledge of the users of the implementation has been upgraded.
