execution time of batches on daily basis.

Delay in execution of batch resulted in further delay of reports & documents to

business users and there was a lot of idle time between batch runs due to manual

intervention.

Also authentication problems of users led to business delays and unauthorized

access of users led to data leakage and sharing of confidential information.

To resolve this, a batch automation project was intended to remove all manual

intervention in daily batch execution for their core applications and reduce the
idle time and error between daily batch executions. IBM Tivoli Workload

Scheduler was the selected software for managing all batch execution in MNYL due

to the functionalities of the software.

Project enabled timely execution of batch reports and documents, automation of

batch execution process and reducing manual intervention by deploying TWS tool.
It led to average time saving of eight hours in daily batch execution. An

increase in production system productivity and reduction in product cost by

automating batch execution was observed.
