Micromax brings 7" 3G enabled tablet, Canvas Tab P480 at Rs. 6,999

Micromax has extended its tablet portfolio with the Canvas Tab P480. The 7-inch Canvas Tab P480 is the company’s third device in the revamped Canvas Tab series, after the P470 and the Intel-powered Canvas Tab P666.

The tablet is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad core processor for faster performance. There is 1 GB RAM for multitasking and it is expandable up-to 32 GB via micro SD card. The Canvas Tab P480 Dual sim calling tablet also comes with 3G connectivity.

The 7-inch IPS screen of Canvas Tab P480 has a display resolution of 1024x600 and it runs on Android KitKat 4.4. Moreover the tablet is confirmed to get an upgrade on Android Lollipop 5.0 through FOTA soon.

One can capture their favorite moments with the 5MP AF rear camera with HD recording, and the 2MP FF front camera is also provided for video calling and selfies. The tablet is backed by a 3000 mAh.

Taking cues from the consumer feedback on the earlier launched Canvas Tab products, Micromax has built in a significant number of key applications and software features such as:

Quicklook: which enables a single-screen tiled window for newsfeed and social updates.

MAd: an innovative video platform where you can watch Videos and win Fabulous rewards

Integrated Camera Widget: which gratifies shutterbugs by placing various camera usage options under a single widget.

Priced at Rs. 6,999, Canvas Tab P480 comes with promotional consumer offers from Hello TV, Saavn, Truecaller, etc. The tablet comes in the color options of Blue and White and will be available in stores from the last week of April, 2015.
