The tablet unit has a matte finish back and has a sturdy Construction. There is a 2 MP camera at the back in the center and the volume rockers and power button are placed on the right. We liked the overall look and feel of the tablet. Despite a price tag of Rs. 14,999, it does not feel cheap.

The top edge houses the 3.5 mm headphone jack, microSD card slot that lets you add up-to 32 GB extra storage, SIM card slot that also supports 3G and a USB 2.0 port. This is the dock keyboard (82 keys) in the separated mode. We have reviewed some hybrids previously such as NotionInk Cain, Swipe Ultimate Tab, etc. and we liked the the quality of material used on the Canvas Laptab. However, the five pin connector that holds tablet unit does not offer a good grip. You have to handle it carefully otherwise it can easily part from the dock keyboard.
