New Update

Mjunction wanted to foray into B2C with an objective of increasing revenue

streams and also derisking overdependence on B2B. They wanted to enhance their

existing retail, auction and auto portals to bring in greater scalability and

flexibility, and increase their market share through enhanced sales and delivery

models.

IBM Commerce was selected as the product with Cognizant being the implementation

partner. Cognizant delivered a solution which ensures faster delivery on a

robust, scalable platform, and provides a common set of services for consumption

in mjunction's retail and various other business models. The e-commerce platform

has been integrated with SAP ERP for billing and invoicing; existing payment

gateway for payments and refunds; content management system for managing the

content and Open Source tools for social networking. With the launch of B2C ,mjunction

is being recognized in the market as a preferred shopping portal. The solution

has allowed mjunction to diversify their product offerings and associated

services, and generate revenues from new business models. The online retail

platform has enabled mjunction to get multiple sellers and logistics partners on

board seamlessly, thereby expanding their geographic reach and business. The

content management system is allowing business users to manage the web site

content dynamically, ensuring its freshness and relevance.
