This revelation comes amidst Motorola's tweet in response to a fellow tweeter's question; Q: When will see Moto X in Asia A: In next few weeks Moto X will launch in India and Australia #MotoMWC

As you all know Moto G was launched in India and sold via Flipkart which joined hands with Motorola to become the official importer of the budget smartphone and sell them via its online platform. The resounding of success of Moto G which sold out like hot cakes, seems to have encouraged Motorola to add Moto X to its India product line-up.

So what is this Moto X you ask? Moto X is a 4.7-inch smartphone with HD 1280×720p display and packs a 1.7 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 CPU with 2 GB RAM. It comes fitted with an impressive 10 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera, 16/32 GB internal storage options and assuming there is no microSD slot for expansion. It is backed up by a 2,220 mAh battery and is powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean at the moment and upgradable to 4.4 KitKat, which should be rolled out around its yet to be confirmed launch date which as per ‘in few weeks' suggest, Motorola is looking at a March launch.

Can Motorola replicate its Moto G success with the pricier Moto X? We'll find out soon.
