The X350 has Intel U7300 processor clocking at 1.3GHz. This particular
processor is designed for ultra slim notebooks, and the form factor results
speak for themselves.
The X350 does not disappoint in terms of speed and performance as well. The
PC Mark score of 2989 is extremely good and Windows 7 Home Premium runs along
nicely.
Price: Rs. 44,999 |
Windows Experience Index rates the machine at 3.4, thanks to the gaming
graphics which get the lowest score. The X350 was designed to be an extremely
slim, light and ultra portable notebook with better performance than netbooks.
The X350 has HDMI, which is great. The screen is 13.4 inches with an HD Ready
resolution of 1366x768. It weighs only 1.5kg with the battery. There is no
optical drive due to the slim size. However, the HP Pavilion DV2 with a similar
form factor offers a USB based optical drive as a part of the package. To
compensate for the 1.3GHz processor, MSI should have put in at least 3GB RAM to
open up more power for multiple applications for simultaneous use. The device
has on offer an amazingly slim design and the ultimate portability.
Bottomline: You get really good performance as long as you don't want
to play any games on it, at a price that won't pinch a hole in your pocket.
