Netflix ISP Speed Index rates Airtel as the fastest Internet Service Provider with 2.25 Mbps Speed

Netflix’s ISP Speed Index has declared Bharti Airtel as the fastest internet service provider with 2.25 Mbps speed followed by Spectranet, 7 Star Digital and ATRIA Convergence Technologies.While Airtel offers broadband services via cable, DSL, wireless and fiber Spectranet just provides its broadband services through fiber.

7 Star Digital Network provides cable TV, digital Media, broadband and entertainment services. It holds an ISP license to offer broadband services in Mumbai and is also the first HD content provider all over India, with 60 plus HD channel offered currently. 7 Star is also the first channel to provide a list of 3D channels all over India.

ATRIA Convergence Technologies speed dipped below 2.18 Mbps, as compared to its current 2.00 Mbps speed.

Hathway moved one spot up to bag the fifth position with 1.93 Mbps speed, followed by YOU Broadband with 1.84 Mbps speed.

The Netflix ISP Speed Index is a measure of prime time Netflix performance on particular ISPs (internet service providers) around the globe, and not a measure of overall performance for other services/data that may travel across the specific ISP network, the company said.
