NETGEAR Launches Trek a Multipurpose Wi-Fi Travel Router

NETGEAR, has announced the launch of NETGEAR TrekN300 Travel Router and Range Extender (PR2000) (www.netgear.com/pr2000), which enables instant access to any public Internet connection while providing security with firewall protection for public hotspots. With Trek, you need not to pay multiple access fees for each device at hotels and cafes, just turn a wired Internet connection into a secure wi-fi hotspot. This compact, palm-sized device can be used as a router, range extender, access point or bridge to keep you connected wherever you trek. With a powerful fold-out external antenna, users can enjoy increased range whether they use Trek on-the-go or at home. Trek also boosts public wi-fi signal strength for improved connection reliability. Trek can be directly plugged into a wall power socket, or can be powered through USB port of the laptop/ computer through a micro USB cable.
