Now, University Students Get Their Own Microsoft Office 365

Following its Office 365 for small businesses and homes, Microsoft has launched Office 365 University for full-time and part-time students studying in accredited colleges and universities in India.

Office 365 University includes the latest Office applications and works across two PCs or Macs, comes with Office on Demand and an additional 20 GB Premium SkyDrive Storage, at Rs. 4,199 for a four-year subscription.

"Office 365 University will be a trusted and integral part of students' everyday always-on, always-connected life, taking full advantage of the cloud and touch capabilities. The special pricing for students will help provide them with opportunities and empower them to be future ready as they join the workforce of tomorrow," said Ramkumar Pichai, GM, Microsoft Office Division, Microsoft India.

If they are keen on subscribing to Office 365 University, students need to go online at www.office.com/verify and verify their eligibility. During the process, students will have to fill out their university credentials, or international student identity card (ISIC) details.

Alternatively, they can submit documentation through the manual verification process. The academic verification process is completed online, after which students can purchase Office 365 University from the online Microsoft store.
