Oppo has already launched a successor to the Find N2 Flip in India in less than a year. The new Find N3 Flip significantly improves the processor, cameras, and software. The Find N3 Flip smartphone is available in a single configuration with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for Rs. 94,999. This is about Rs. 5,000 more than the Find N2 Flip, which is all right. The sale will commence on 22 October.

The dimensions of the new Oppo Find N3 Flip are similar to those of the previous generation. This Sleek Black variant's glossy coating is a fingerprint magnet, making the Find N3 Flip phone look costly. The N3 Flip now has an alert slider that feels and behaves exactly like the ones seen on OnePlus smartphones. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection is also provided for the outer two haves.

Find N3 Flip: Features

  • Another new feature is located next to the outer display. For the first time on a vertically folding phone, there are three camera sensors, which Oppo claims are among the largest for this form size. The primary camera is the same 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor used in the N2 Flip, but it now has optical stabilisation, which should result in smoother films and more explicit low-light photographs.

  • A 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera with autofocus for macro images and video is now available. The main attraction is the 32-megapixel portrait camera with autofocus, a 2X optical zoom, and a 20X digital zoom. On paper, this is a formidable camera package for a flip folding phone, putting the N3 Flip in the same category as some other regular flagships.
  • A new processor is also available for the Oppo Find N3 Flip. The MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor is supposed to be more powerful and energy efficient. The battery capacity remains 4,300mAh, and the Find N3 Flip phone supports 44W rapid charging with the included adapter. Wireless charging is still not available.
  • Oppo claims that the hinge has been reinforced and has IPX4 ingress protection against light water damage. When folded, there is also no visible gap between the two parts, and the hinge is now certified to resist 600,000 folds and unfolds, which is 200K more than the N2 Flip.

  • The Oppo Find N3 Flip's internal display is a 6.8-inch flexible OLED panel with a refresh rate 120Hz and a full-HD+ resolution. The maximum brightness has been increased to 1,600 nits.
  • The exterior screen is nearly identical to that of the N2 Flip. Oppo appears to be devoted to this aspect ratio, and with reason: the N3 Flip now supports full-sized apps on the outer display, in addition to the preinstalled weather and camera widgets. Oppo claims that over 40 apps have been improved, with more to come.

When you think about it, the Oppo Find N3 Flip is a very significant update, which is surprising given that the Find N2 Flip was just released in India earlier this year. It certainly gives Samsung and Motorola a run for their money.
