Oppo launches entry-level 4 inch Joy Smartphone India at Rs 8,999

Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has launched a budget smartphone, Oppo Joy, at Rs 8,990 and is available in black and white colours.

This dual-sim phone has a sleek look and runs ColorOS (based on Android4.2). It sports a 4-inch WVGA (480x800p) display that has Nano surface coating which allows you to work with wet hands or gloves. The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek processor and 512MB RAM.

Oppo Joy comes with a 3MP rear camera and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera. It comes with 4GB internal storage and a microSD slot that supports up to 32GB storage. The phone has a 1,700mAh battery.

The phone also boasts of a feature called Hotknot that enables faster, secure file transmission without consuming large amount of power. In terms of connectivity, Oppo Joy supports Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and GPS.
