Panasonic Brings the First 4K Video Camera 'Lumix GH4'

Panasonic becomes the first company to introduce 4K video recording camera, Panasonic DMC-GH4, into the Indian market. The GH4 is a hybrid Digital Single Lens Mirrorless (DSLM) camera with the world's first 4K video recording capability. Means now users would be able to record four times the resolution of full HD videos in either MOV or MPEG-4 format.

The 4K video camera has a new 16.05 MP Digital Live MOS Sensor with a 1235mm F2.8 HD lens. It comes with several features and provides enhanced image quality, for both photo and video. The company has integrated various functions in it including its new Venus Engine, Moirè Suppression, Max. the camera also gets a 12fps Burst, Shutter 1/8000 sec 28mm wide-angle lens for covering a larger shooting area in indoor shooting

It looks similar to GH3 and has a 2360-dot OLED "live" viewfinder and a 3-inch "free angle" OLED screen with touch auto-focus. The body is made with magnesium alloy which makes it splash and dust proof. All in all, it is a well balanced and lightweight camera which will be available with lots of accessories such as a stereo gun/zoom mic. Company also planning to sell an interface dock to aid the professional videographers.

Panasonic DMC-GH4 camera costs for Rs 1,72,990 and the body alone costs Rs 1,11,990.
