Cisco takes the crown in both survey segments. Both the runners up trail their leaders by a wide margin.
As many as six brands fight it out in both survey segments with Cisco taking the lead position. In 100-499 survey segment, OpManager is the first runner up across survey segments. EMC takes the third position in one segment, while OpenSMS on the other. IBM Tivoli trails OpenNMS by a narrow margin in 100-499 segment surveyed. While Juniper trails IBM Tivoli on the other segment.
Runners up in both survey segments trail the leader by a wide margin both in terms of ownership and top of mind recall.
In terms of brand loyalty, 16% Cisco users are likely to shift out in 100-499 survey segment, while this is 3% in other segment. Both OpManager and Oracle have all their users loyal. Same is the case with EMC and IBM Tivoli in 100-499 survey segment. In the other segment, 6% of EMC users and 9% of Oracle users are likely to switch out. Users of IBM Tivoli in this segment seem to be loyal and so is Juniper.
For Cisco and Oracle users, the major reason of satisfaction is quality of product followed by brand name across both segments. For OpManager users both quality of product and product reliability are equally important. EMC users voted for both quality of product and brand name and same would be the reason for them to consider using them in future. For Cisco and OpenNMS users, value for money is also important for their satisfaction. And this would be the reason for satisfaction in their future use.
