Tally registers a presence in small enterprise category right at position two with a good user base and top of mind recall.
Tally gets into the users' choice club showing its usage across small enterprises with a good top of mind recall way ahead of Oracle brands like JD Edwards and PeopleSoft. And this makes sense given its popularity in Indian market. However, SAP is getting stronger year after year with excellent current ownership and top of mind recall.
Two brands of Oracle - PeopleSoft and JD Edwards, make it to the club as first and second runner up while they moved one step down in small enterprise category. Microsoft Dynamics NAV loses out to Ramco for third position although the latter fails to retain its third position in small enterprise category.
Quality of product and brand name are the top reasons for satisfaction for SAP users. Tally gets highest votes in favor of value for money followed by quality of service. Interestingly for Oracle users, quality of product and value for money are equally important followed by brand name.
In terms of brand loyalty, SAP has the least shift outs with almost 95% of users planning to continue to use the same brand. So is the story of Tally, which has 94% loyal users. In small enterprise category, users of both Oracle brands are not planning any shift outs. However, in large enterprise category, only a meagre 10% are likely to move out but not sure which brand to shift out to. SAP seems to be potent enough to shift-in 20% of Ramco's users.
Microsoft Dynamic NAV which has slid to fourth position in large enterprise category has all its users likely to remain with the same brand.
