The Problem: MindLance has 16 locations globally, 14 locations in India, covering 4 countries, and a complex infrastructure was holding communication together. Management wanted an integrated and consolidated IT initiative consisting unified communication, collaboration tool, robust mailing solution, expectations were denominated high in terms of cost savings and productivity enhancement.
The Solution: To solve this issue, MindLance moved on to the Microsoft platform cloud. The functional requirements were collated, and a huge need to customize SharePoint and CRM were realized. so they deployed internal resources as functional consultants to various business units to understand business processes and expectation. The CRM was customized for funnel and order management process transfer. SharePoint was customized to create a knowledge base,track attendance, appraisals and trainings. Lync and Intune were implemented for unified communications, and Lync was further integrated into Avaya infrastructure.
The Result: The IT Support cost has been reduced by 40%. The company has also seen a reduced travel cost by 40%, reduced telecom cost by 25%, reduced internet bandwidth cost by 15 lakh per annum, reduced data center space worth Rs. 14 lakh per annum. Moreover, the entire cloud is running with 99.7% availability, and at all times scalable.
