Lava introduces IvoryS, its latest 3G tablet with voice calling support in the country for Rs 8499. The company has launched its latest 3G calling tablet IvoryS tablet which sports a 7 inch multi touch capacitive display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and is powered by MediaTek MT8312 1.3 GHz dual core processor and comes with 1 GB RAM.

The tablet weighs at 300 grams, making it easy and compact to carry and in addition to that, it comes with 4 GB of internal memory that is expandable up to 32 GB using microSD card. It offers dual SIM (3G+2G) capabilities and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.

Lava IvoryS sports a 3.2 MP rear camera with flash for low light images and a VGA front camera for 3G video-calling. It is powered by a 2800 mAh battery which provide up to 200 hours of standby time and 8 hours talk time. The tablet comes in grey and white colours and will be available across national retail chain stores, multi-brand outlets across India and online stores.

For connectivity it includes: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB tethering, GPRS and EDGE and pre-loaded with apps like Opera, Hungama Music App, WhatsApp, PayTM, EA games etc. 

The company has not divulged on the pricing of Ivory S tablet as of now but looking at this annoucement, one expects the product to be available in the coming weeks.
