Pegasus Mail 4.12a

New Update

The most cluttered interface among the lot, but Pegasus also consumes the least memory at 9 MB compared to others. Pegasus mail scored fairly low in spam handling and accuracy, identifying only 54 out of 210 spam mail. We couldn't find any sort of import/export option, which is again a big con for the software. Apparently, the client is designed to be particularly versatile in network support, especially for Novell NetWare. The software is free and ad-free but like mentioned has a very chaotic UI. The interface is often difficult to navigate and sometimes even to interpret. Like Incredimail, Pegasus too lets you

preview mail on the server itself before actually downloading it. The search function is pretty average and doesn't allow you to search within attachments. For security concerns, the client is heavily reliant on third party security solutions even though it has support for SSL/TLS and has a built-in encryption engine. There is a detailed comprehensive help system with which you can make good use of its many features, only if you are willing to

invest time.
