Plantronics ML2 Bluetooth Headset Launched

This is a very easy-fit, lightweight handsfree from Plantronics, which is very easy to operate and comes for a very affordable price. It has a compact design and is made entirely of plastic with matte finish with a do-it-all key on it that lets you switch on or off the ML2, and also receive calls, as well as handle voice commands. It has a gel ear tip and a gel loop so the ear doesn't feel the stress when used for long periods. Other benefit is that it can be worn with or without the optional earloop and it fits either ear comfortably.

The ML2 also offers multipoint, redial, voice dialling through the phone's voice engine, and call answer/end/reject. With just a few taps on your smart phone you can pair this headset with your device.ML2 can pair with two phones simultaneously, irrespective of OS or platform.

The calling performance of this headset is very impressive; the AudioIQ technology works well and suppresses background noise, giving very clear sound response in every environment. We used ML2 in heavy traffic, moving auto and even in market places and got good response from both the sides, though it was not able to supress the surround sound totally. The Voice calling feature works fine with some features but calling with it is like a hit and miss affair. The battery life is also decent giving 5-6 hours on single charge.
