New Update

The Problem: CCTVs or close circuit network cameras have been widely used by companies to keep their workplace secured and watched. Most modern day CCTVs have digital recorders like VCR or DVR. However, the future of surveillance for security lies with IP cameras, which allows you to observe and control multiple cameras even if the camera and monitor are placed miles away from each other.

The Solution: RSWM had a tough time convincing its management about the benefits of IP cameras over CCTVs, since it was easy to implement, as they were already having IP LAN set up. The only problem was that most of their LAN switches were 10 years old with 10 or 100 MBPS, but were eventually upgraded by Giga Backbone.

The Result: After implementing IP cameras RSWM management is able to keep an easy watch over the movement of goods and people in and out of the factory, besides observing the entire factory premises. Workers now realise that they are being watched so they do their work efficiently, leading to more productivity. Also, it acts as preventive measure to thefts by factory workers. RSWM intends to deploy high resolution and night vision IP cameras in the future.
