Realme GT 5 Pro Specifications Out, Confirmed to Release on December 7 Launch

According to Gizmochina, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has announced that the Realme GT 5 Pro would support USB 3.2 and have up to 1 TB of storage, resulting in transfer rates of up to 10 GB/s. Furthermore, Realme announced that the GT 5 Pro will be the company's first phone to run Android 14 and come with Realme UI 5.0

Realme GT 5 Pro Unveiled December 7 Launch Confirmed

According to Gizmochina, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has announced that the Realme GT 5 Pro would support USB 3.2 and have up to 1 TB of storage, resulting in transfer rates of up to 10 GB/s. Furthermore, Realme announced that the GT 5 Pro will be the company's first phone to run Android 14 and come with Realme UI 5.0.

It will also receive three years of Android OS upgrades and four years of security upgrades. The company did this while generating excitement for its phone in the GT lineup through posts on the Chinese website Weibo.

Additionally, Realme also advertised that the Realme GT 5 Pro will receive a major AI-enabled update that will add an AI assistant based on an unnamed AI model trained with 7 billion parameters. Ahead of the Realme GT 5 Pro launch date in China on December 5, the company has officially confirmed many key specifications of the high-end smartphone.

The Realme GT 5 Pro is expected to come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 4500 nits peak brightness, and 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, according to 91Mobiles. According to reports, the smartphone could be powered by the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with Adreno GPU. In addition, the GT 5 Pro can have up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. 

In terms of cameras, the new GT 5 Pro could feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel OIS-enabled primary camera, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.

The device could have a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls. According to an online listing of the Realme GT 5 Pro cited by 91Mobiles, the smartphone was priced at RMB 3,499, which translates to around Rs 40,900.

Sony’s Lytia Camera

Realme also demonstrated a significant advancement in camera technology. Excellent image quality is promised by the smartphone's primary camera, which uses Sony's Lytia LYT808 and a telephoto lens with an IMX890 low-light periscope. Realme highlights the combination of cutting-edge technology and sophisticated algorithms, showcasing its in-house developed ultra-light shadow engine and Arcsoft's tailored portrait algorithm.
