Redmi K70 Series Expected to Launch Today: Check Details

According to sources, Xiaomi's Redmi K70 smartphone series will launch in China on November 29 and would soon be offered in India. Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is set to launch its Redmi K70 smartphone series in the Chinese market on November 29.

The smartphone series may also soon make its way to the Indian market. The K70 and K70 Pro are expected to have a 6.68-inch AMOLED panel and a glass back with a frosted pattern.

Redmi K70 Expected features

According to a report by Gizmochina, the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro are likely to debut with a 6.68-inch AMOLED panel with a punch-hole notch and an ice pattern back. The K70 Pro has a 2K OLED screen jointly developed by TCL Huaxing and Xiaomi, which uses C8 luminescent material, which is said to consume less power, fonearea says.

In addition, the K70 Pro could feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB of RAM while running Android 14 based on the company's latest custom skin, HyperOS.

While the lower-end Redmi K70 may come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and the Redmi K70e  with a Mediatek Dimensity 8300 processor, 91Mobiles reports.

In terms of optics, the Redmi K70 Pro could have a 50-megapixel main camera that supports optical image stabilization (OIS), as well as a 2x portrait lens and an ultra-wide camera.

Storage and color options 

According to reports, the Redmi K70 Pro could come in three storage variants: 16GB RAM + 256GB storage, 16GB RAM + 512GB storage and 24GB RAM + 1TB storage. The smartphone  is expected to be available in Black, Silver and Blue color options.  

Redmi K70 series release date and time 

According to several media reports, the Redmi K70 series will launch in China tomorrow and the India launch may follow soon after. According to reports, the Redmi K70e might be renamed Poco F6 for its India launch. Other products that Xiaomi might introduce at tomorrow's event include the Redmi Book, Redmi Watch 4 and Redmi Buds 5 Pro.
