The Redmi Note 13 series will be available in India in January. The company still needs to specify a specific launch date. In September, the Redmi Note 13 series, which included the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+, was released in China. The lineup's three variants all sport a 6.67-inch 1.5K full-HD+ AMOLED display and a 16-megapixel front camera. The Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ are powered by MediaTek Dimensity SoCs, while a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC powers the Redmi Note 13 Pro.

Redmi Note 13 Series to start selling in January 2024

Xiaomi confirmed the Redmi Note 13 series will be sold in India in January next year during its Redmi 13C launch on Wednesday (6 December). According to the company, the Redmi 13C launch event was shot entirely on the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G.

In September, the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ were announced in China. All three models in the series are slated to premiere in India. However, the Chinese tech company did not confirm the exact debut date or the main specs of the Indian models.

Redmi Note 13 Series: Price

In China, the Redmi Note 13 costs CNY 1,199 (about Rs. 13,900), while the Redmi Note 13 Pro costs CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 17,400). Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is the most expensive smartphone on the list and is available for CNY 1,999 (about Rs. 22,800). Prices for Indian variants are expected to be comparable.

A recent leak stated that the Pro models will be priced in Europe. According to the leak, the Redmi Note 13 Pro will cost EUR 450 (about Rs. 40,700), while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will cost EUR 500 (approximately Rs. 45,000).

Specifications: Redmi Note 13 series

Given Xiaomi's track record, we can expect the Indian variations to have the exact specifications as the devices released in China. The Redmi Note 13 series includes a 6.67-inch 1.5K full-HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC powers the Pro model, while the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC powers the Redmi Note 13 Pro+. On the other hand, the standard Redmi Note 13 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC.

The Redmi Note 13 sports a dual back camera with a 100-megapixel resolution, whereas the Pro variants have triple rear cameras led by a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS). The front-facing camera on all three phones is a 16-megapixel sensor.
