Bottomline : VivoMini UN62 is ideal for a wide range of business applications and home needs. It can be used in point-of-sale (PoS) terminals, digital signage, kiosk displays, or as a computing platform for small workstations. It can also be a personal or family PC for surfing the web, playing games and watching movies.
It features lightweight chassis that measures just 131 x 131 x 42mm giving it a smaller footprint. This sleek design frees up precious desktop space and blends in anywhere in the home or office. It can be VESA-mounted on the back of a display too, allowing users to create their own custom All-in-One (AiO) PC for a tidy, clutter-free desk or workstation. Power button is housed at front with an integrated white LED.
It also supports up to three independent displays, 2 through HDMI and one with DisplayPort++ without the need for an additional graphics card. This gives users additional onscreen space for productive multi-tasking; allowing them to spread out application windows, mirror content, or extend a single window across multiple displays.
In terms of connectivity, the UN62 offers 4 USB 3.0 ports, HMDI and Wi-fi. On the storage side, it offers 128GB SSD of which only 102GB is available to the user. Asus gives you 100GB of Webstorage space for free (1 year) with every VivoMini PC
Smooth Performance
To review the performance we used ASUS UN62, Micromax 42" TV set to full HD resolution as our test bed. We ran benchmarks to check the ability to perform a series of multimedia and media tasks. In PC Mark 8 test suite that include web browsing, photo-editing, video editing, gaming it scored 1708. In 3D Mark 8 that tests the graphic capability it scored 749. Being an entry level PC aimed at users who are looking to do basic work such as MS office, watching videos the scores are decent. Browsing the web, watching Full HD movies also ran smoothly. The Mini-PC also supports 4K content allowing you to view visuals in great detail.
