GeForcce GTX 970 G1 Gaming comes with Gigabyte’s WindForce 3X cooler, which is made up of three cooling fans that are designed for lower noise levels and deliver the best performance possible. It has GIGABYTE Flex display technology that automatically detects any connected monitor and achieves multi-display gaming up to 4 monitors. It is integrated with 4GB GDDR5 memory 256-bit memory interface and retained its second-tier Maxwell card that makes it capable of delivering awesome performance. The GPU runs with 2MB of L2 cache onboard and retains the existing algorithm, advances the 256-bit memory bus, viable for a card that’s aiming at 4K gaming performance. The GTX 970 G1 Gaming has silicon sleeve, in the form of super-chilled operating temperatures and serious overclocking potential.

Performance: Playing games like Thief, NFS, etc. on it is a pleasure. It is silent, cool and comes factory overclocked at a boost frequency of 1329 MHz. With it, you can play all games perfectly at up to WHQD at 2560x1440. You can play all the modern and latest games on this Full HD to WHQD card that certainly offers a robust performance in these resolutions.

We tested the GPU on our test bed (3.0 GHz AMD Athlon II X2 250 CPU on Gigabyte motherboard, 4 DDR3 Kingston RAM, WD 500GB SATA HDD, Phillips LED monitor running on Windows 7 OS), where it delivered awesome performance and scored P5108 on 3D Mark 11, 2677 on PC Mark Creative Accelerated 3.0, and 2179 on Unigine Heaven Benchmark 4.0. Using the STALKER: Call of Pripyat benchmark, it resulted with max 267.3 and min 27.3 fps scores.
