These is a full sized, over the ear headset that’s equipped with 53mm drivers. The aluminum and leather mix gives it a refreshing look and feel. The headset offers memory foam ear cushions, and a soft leather-padded headband that provides comfort during long sessions. Other accessories that come with it include a carry bag, 2m extension cable with volume control, airline adapter and an additional pair of velour ear pads.

The volume control also features a multi-function button that can be used to answer or end calls or pause music when in use with a smartphone.

Impressive Performance in Games: We tested the Hyper X headset across various games and were surely impressed by its performance. When we played GTA 4 which is a combination of racing, shooting, gang wars etc everything sounded perfect. From gunshots to explosions to driving, the sound delivered will give you new levels of diversity and intensity.

In racing games like Need for Speed, Most Wanted, Burnout Paradise etc everything sounded great. The ear cups are also comfortable to use over extended periods of game play. Apart from this, it delivers great sound if you are using it for listening to music.

On bass tracks, it sounded perfect with no level of distortion even when volume was raised to full. The mids, highs and lows are rich. Vocals sound clear even at low volume levels. Movie playback is enjoyable and pleasant and your ears will not feel exhausted even if you’re going to watch a 2 hour movie.
