Nuance produces Power PDF advance that can reproduce documents accurately, and allows you to rectify the errors easily. The interface of Power PDF advance is similar to Photoshop and Illustrator which may be useful to graphic designers. But it may not be useful for those who are likely to be more used to the Microsoft’s Office ribbon, and this is what Power PDF Advanced has adopted. The ribbon makes a lot of things easier to do such as scanning a document for optical character recognition (OCR), with a single button in the Home tab of the ribbon. The OCR engine from OmniPage, produced good results in our test and was useful for extracting data from multiple files.

Power PDF Advance can also work in batch mode and automate file conversion to PDF. By designating a folder, you get automatic PDF conversions of files copied into the folder.
