PTron Tronite Bluetooth Smartwatch works with Bluetooth that enables you to pair the watch with your smartphone. And this can work like a phone by adding an SIM card into it. When you synchronize this with your smartphone, this can notify you about the incoming calls and allows you to accept or reject them without touching the phone. The smartwatch has Pedometer to monitor your daily movements and Two Way anti lost feature that ring the clock to alert you if the phone is far from over 5metres or vise versa. It also has remote photos and video recording and sleep monitoring.
It has a capacitive touch panel with 1.56-inch TFT display and equipped with a 1.3 MP camera which is no longer in use now-a-days. Still using the camera you click images, however, the quality is poor. This also supports MicroSD card meaning you can extend the memory.
This can be paired with both iOS and Android Smartphones. Android OS supports all the functions of the smartwatch, however, iOS allows a limited access. There is no app for iPhone so four functions can't sync with iPhone – Anti-lost, Messaging, Notifier and Remote Camera.
This watch works well in both manner whether you pair it with your smartphone or use separately as a phone. Though this can work like an individual phone, but the call quality is poor, so we recommend to use headphone to reply or make calls for better experience.
Using the smartwatch for more than two weeks, we didn't find any visible performance lag while exploring the device or using its functions. However, we missed the watch most of the time as the screen went into sleep mode after a few seconds, and to wake that up either touch the screen/power button or use the gesture. This comes with 380 mAh battery that lets you operate the smartwatch for more than a day which is good for smartwatch available at this price.
