The Sound Star is an ultra portable wireless speaker and is also equipped with NFC capability. The front face houses a metal grille that hides a 2-inch driver. The top houses three main buttons – (from left) volume down/go back to the previous music, pause, play or speaker phone calls, volume up or moving on to next music that gives you ease when switching tracks and you don't have to carry your phone nearby. Power on/off, SD card reader, charging port, Aux-in are at the back of speaker. Toreto claims battery life to be 10 hours but will depend on how loud you play your music.

Good Audio Performance

Pairing the Sound Star was a quick, simple process with an iPhone 5s, and if you have an NFC-enabled device, you can just tap to pair it with the speaker in an instant. When we fed the speaker with sub-intense bass content it sounded pleasant pushing appreciable amount of bass. However lacks depth at low end and sounded flat. The speaker is powerful on tracks that focuses on mids and highs and sounded loud and fuller.

In orchestral and classical tracks, it delivered bright and clear sound, with rich presence of brass and other instruments and clear vocals. Also when the volume is high, it gets loud with no amount of distortion or hissing sound produced.

On full charge it delivered a battery life of 8 hours at moderate volume.
