RIM Introduces BlackBerry Bold 9900 Powered by Latest OS BB 7 in India

BlackBerry Bold 9900 runs on the latest BB OS 7 and features 1.2GHz processor, HD video recording, 24-bit high-resolution graphics and sensors enabling augmented reality applications such as Wikitude that can be seamlessly integarted with BBM 6. The smapthone is the slimmest BlackBerry phone yet at only 10.5mm. The phone is also the first BB smartphone to include built-in support for NFC, a technology that enables among many other things, to read SmartPoster tags with a simple tap of the smartphone.

The new-gen BlackBerry OS 7 brings in faster and more fluid web browsing experience and features RIM's proprietary Liquid Graphics display. With a brushed stainless steel frame, sculpted surfaces the phone has a 5 MP camera, 8GB on-board memory and dedicated media keys. The phone comes integrated with BB Protect to to back up contacts, emails in the cloud. The phone also allows in-application chat. The smartphone also has a bunch of features for enterprise users including Voice, Email, Webex and MVS which enables anchoring of mobile calls in PBX. The phone is available at a price of Rs 32, 490.
