Samsung Galaxy K Zoom exclusively available on Amazon

It's like Samsung is following Motorola's path to sell its smartphone-cum-camera device in India. The company has put the Galaxy K Zoom on pre-order on Amazon.in with a price tag of Rs 29,999, that will be start shipping from 9th July. The device combines the looks and features of the Samsung Galaxy S5 flagship and a large image sensor that usually comes with traditional point-and-shoots. The Galaxy K Zoom will be shipped in three color choices white, blue and black.

Amazon India announces a special introductory offer as well for the first 1000 pre-order customers worth Rs 6000 that includes a Samsung Pop out case, a Sandisk 32 GB MicroSD card, 6 free movie tickets, discount coupons worth Rs 2,000 for shopping.

Smartphone-cum-camera device boasts a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display and powered by a hexa-core SoC. The phone runs on Android KitKat with the same Galaxy S5 TouchWiz version. It is equipped with a 20.7MP BSI sensor at the rear that offers 10x optical zoom and optical image stabilization. It can record videos 1080p which is similar to 4K video that makes it a great value device. The phone gets Xenon and LED flash for better low light shots. The camera comes with special camera-centric interface, SMART Mode, Expert Mode (Program and Manual) and My Mode.

Apart from its camera features, K zoom also boasts a normal Android phone capabilities. It is coupled with 2GB of RAM, 8GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card. The two-in-one device gets power from a 2430 mAh battery, which is not a upgrade from the previous one.
