Geekbench Teases Samsung Galaxy M55

The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G could hit the market shortly. The phone suddenly leaked online, implying it would be released soon. It is reportedly the successor of the Samsung Galaxy M54 5G, released in March of this year and included an Exynos 1380 SoC and a 6,000mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging capabilities. The alleged Galaxy M55 5G has been found on a benchmarking website. The listing is supposed to hint at essential specs such as the phone's processor and RAM.

Samsung Galaxy M55 5G: Featured on the Geekbench website

According to MySmartPrice, the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G variant was featured on the Geekbench website under the model number SM-M556B. The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G phone could be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, which scored 3575 in the single-core test and 11330 in the multicore test, according to the listing. According to the listing, the Galaxy M55 5G also has an Adreno (TM) 644 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and runs Android 14-based One UI.

The Galaxy M55 is slated to replace the Galaxy M54, available in Blue and Silver. The device was never released in India. The 8GB + 128GB variant costs BRL 1,799 (about Rs. 30,600) in Brazil, while the 256GB variant costs BRL 3,499 (approximately Rs. 59,500).

Galaxy M54: Specifications

The Galaxy M54 features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an Exynos 1380 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage. A 108-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera are included in the Galaxy M54 phone's triple back camera set. The Galaxy M54 handset's front camera has a 32-megapixel sensor.

The Galaxy M54 has a 6,000mAh battery and supports 25W wired fast charging. On the other hand, the charging adapter is sold separately and does not come in the retail package with the Galaxy M54 phone. It has a fingerprint sensor on the side for added security. Wi-Fi 6, 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, NavIC, QZSS, and USB Type-C connectivity are all included. The Galaxy M54 device is 164.9mm x 77.3mm x 8.4mm and weighs 199 grams.
