The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is expected to be released soon. Geekbench originally listed the phone with two SoC configurations. It is believed to be the successor to the Galaxy S21 FE model. A live image of the phone was recently released and discovered in a wireless charging database, implying that it will have a slower charging capacity than the other Galaxy S23 versions. The phone's future Fan Edition variant is slated to be part of the Galaxy S23 line, including the standard Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra.

The Wireless Power Consortium discovered the Galaxy S23 FE, which enables 4.4W wireless charging. The website does not specify the maximum power charging wattage the USB Type-C port will support. The Galaxy S23 Ultra, on the other hand, enables 45W wired and 15W wireless fast charging.

Justin Hume, Vice-President of Mobile for Samsung South Africa, recently stated at the Galaxy Unpacked event in Seoul that an announcement of a Galaxy S23 FE variant is imminent. It could launch in the US and Canada with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC or a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, while other areas may get the phone with an in-house Exynos 2200 processor.

On the other hand, Samsung Club, a Dutch website, released live shots of the alleged Galaxy S23 FE variant. According to the image, the phone will have a 2.5D display. The phone's back panel is rumoured to be equally flat, with the triple rear camera unit situated in the upper left corner in three vertically placed circular holes.

The Galaxy S23 FE phone is believed to launch the Android 13-based One UI out of the box. The Exynos model is expected to be paired with an AMD Xclipse 920 GPU. When it launches, the phone will likely come with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

The Galaxy S23 FE is expected to have a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, an 8-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens, and a 12-megapixel sensor in the front placed in a centre-aligned hole-punch slot at the top of a potentially 6.4-inch screen. A 4,500mAh battery is expected to power it.
