The One UI 6 beta was intended to be released by the South Korean IT conglomerate in the third week of July. However, the release of the update has been postponed. According to a recent report, the Android 14-based One UI 6 beta upgrade will be available to Galaxy S23 series owners next week. The phones are running One UI 5.1, based on Android 13.

On this date, Samsung will begin rolling out the Android 14-based One UI 6 beta for the Galaxy S23 series

According to a recent SamMobile story, Samsung will begin rolling out the Android 14-based One UI 6 beta for Galaxy S23 series users on 2 August. Following that, the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 are expected to receive the update on 9 August. The business has launched a dedicated One UI 6 area in support of the report on its India and US community forums. This also implies that other qualified Samsung Galaxy smartphone customers will soon be able to download the Samsung One UI 6.0 beta. However, Samsung is yet to confirm the statement.

Android 14 is likely to offer new features and designs

Android 14 will likely offer a slew of new features and design enhancements to devices, including new lock screen custom clock options and a battery health monitoring function similar to the iPhone.

In February, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The smartphones run One UI 5.1, which is based on Android 13. For the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung promises four years of OS upgrades and five years of security patches.

Conclusion

The One UI 6.0 beta was supposed to be released in the third week of July, but it now appears to have been postponed by around a week. Before One UI 6.0 is distributed to all supported devices, Samsung must first deliver One UI 5.1.1. The Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Tab S8 families received a beta of this version earlier this month, and now that the Galaxy Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and Tab S9 series are official and running this generation of the skin, we expect upgrades to Samsung's older smartphones to be imminent. Naturally, we'll keep you updated.
