Samsung Galaxy S24 Series

As the rumours concerning Samsung's Galaxy S24 series intensify, there is now a hint about its release date. In contrast to the debut of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 in South Korea this year, Samsung is scheduled to hold its next Galaxy Unpacked event in the United States next year. Samsung will likely reveal its new premium flagships at the event, replacing the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra models introduced earlier this year. There's also additional information regarding Samsung's new Exynos 2400 chipset, unveiled a few weeks ago and likely to power two Galaxy S24 variants this year.

Galaxy S24 series: Launch date

According to SEDaily, Samsung will proceed with its usual US launch of the Galaxy S24 series next year. According to the insider, the launch event would take roughly an hour's drive from Apple's Cupertino headquarters. The source indicates that it will be announced "early next year," implying a launch in January 2024.

In some areas, the Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ models are expected to be available with the Exynos SoC. In contrast, others may receive the latest Qualcomm silicon, which is expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. More information about Samsung's recently announced Exynos 2400 SoC has also surfaced.

Ice Universe posted a screenshot of a Geekbench test of the next Samsung Galaxy S24+, which has also surfaced on the testing website, implying more information about the processor's architecture. The Samsung SM-S926 B smartphone scored 2,067 and 6,520 points in Geekbench's single and multi-core tests, respectively.

Galaxy S24 series: Deca-core design

According to the results, the SoC has a deca-core design. Its primary Cortex-X4 processor runs at 3.21GHz. Meanwhile, two of its five Cortex-A720 performance cores are clocked at 2.9GHz, while the others are clocked at 2.6GHz. Finally, four Cortex-A520 efficiency cores are running at 1.95GHz apiece.

Leaked information on the next-generation Exynos 2500 SoC has also surfaced. According to @OreXda, the Exynos 2500 will also include a deca-core design, which differs from the octa-core architecture for the same previously revealed SoC.
