Samsung has announced the availability of the latest One UI 5 Watch software update for users of the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic in the United States. The current update will likely include various new capabilities and provide customers more flexibility. It also had the July 2023 security patch for the watches. According to the changelog, the latest software update for the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic and Galaxy Watch 4 introduces new watch faces and tiles, such as the Buds controller tile, Timer tile, and a battery tile that displays the battery level of all connected Samsung devices.

Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic: Updated Features

The Galaxy Buds tile is reported to allow users to turn on or off 360 Audio directly from their watch. In addition, instead of a single image, users can use the entire book as a wallpaper or background. The update also allows users to save backups of their watch data to Samsung Cloud via the Smart Switch app. Not only that but the wristwatch may be paired with a new phone without the need for a factory reset.

Furthermore, the One UI 5 Watch software upgrade includes improved sleep coaching, cycling training logs, and a customised heart rate zone. Other notable features include the ability to control call volume, mute sound, and press keypad buttons from the watch itself. It also makes it possible for Bixby to read notifications.

Galaxy Z Flip 5 or Fold 5 users may now shoot photos from their watches by touching on the camera symbol that displays when the phone's camera is open in Flex or Tent mode.
