Samsung Launches the Galaxy Core in India for Rs 15,690

Samsung Electronics today announced the launch of the Samsung GALAXY Core. Powered by 1.2GHz Snapdragon Qualcomm Dual Core processor and Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system, the Samsung GALAXY Core comes with an 8GB internal memory space and 1GB RAM.

Equipped with 4.3 inch display and a 5-megapixel camera, the device also offers the unique Best Shot feature that recommends the best photos per 8 continuous shots.

Dual SIM

The Galaxy Core comes with Smart Dual SIM feature that provides the user the convenience of having two SIM cards accessed by one phone without the need of switching off or rebooting the device. This enable the users to balance their personal and professional life with ease. It also enables the user to browse internet from one SIM while having the using the other number for incoming phone calls.

Enhanced Usability Features

The Galaxy smartphone comes preloaded with smart features that that let users utilize interactions including voice, movement and optical commands. The Smart Stay feature recognizes when the user is looking at the device and saves battery life when a user looks away by dimming the screen and powering it down using advanced facial recognition.

The Smart Alert feature highlights missed events such as missed calls and new messages when the phone is picked up. The S Voice feature enables the user to command the device verbally. The Voice Unlock feature enables the user to unlock the mobile using voice. The device also offers Motion UI feature wherein it enables the user to perform common actions simply by movement, for example shaking the mobile to update contents, turning it over to instantly mute the device etc.

App ecosystem

The smartphone also comes with ChatOn, Samsung's cross-platform communication service that enables the users to socialize. ChatOn allows users to freely share multimedia content, do group chatting with friends and create personalized animated messages. The device also comes pre-loaded with a host of other applications including ‘Games Hub' that can be downloaded from the Samsung Apps Store. The device also offers the users Cloud Service that provides same experiences to multiple devices by offering sync and back-up of mobile data and contents.
