In theory, WhatsApp users will soon be able to save a significant amount of time by sharing their status updates as Stories on Instagram, as per a recent report from WABetaInfo. With WhatsApp, users can share their status updates with Facebook directly; Instagram integration would appear to be the next obvious step.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, the social media company is working to improve its status sharing feature and make it compatible with Instagram, although it is related to the latest update of WhatsApp beta Android 2.23.25.20. The report says that the feature, which is expected to appear at a later date, is optional and lets the user decide whether or not to share the update on Instagram.

The report also says that sharing updates directly from WhatsApp offers many benefits, including saving time and improving sharing updates across platforms. However, since WhatsApp lags far behind Instagram when it comes to photo or video editing features, even Instagram fanatics may feel that their stories added directly from WhatsApp are missing something.

WhatsApp's AI chat

Recently, WhatsApp also announced a new AI chat that allows users to interact with an AI chat. Suppose there is a button above the Chats tab to start new chats. This button makes it easy to quickly open AI-based conversations, which increases speed and convenience. The AI chat powered by Meta AI was originally unveiled in September by Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of WhatsApp and the parent company, Meta.

He revealed that the company is testing chatbots with AI for a certain segment in the United States. WhatsApp's September beta introduced AI chat, but it was hidden in the contact list, making it difficult to find and start conversations. To make the process easier and improve the user experience, WhatsApp Android beta version 2.23.24.26 now includes a small button on the home screen that allows quick access to the chat.
