New Update

The striking thing about this 15” LCD is its stylish floating frame design. It has some good features as well. For one, it consumes very low power, 20 Watts rated when running and 1 Watt in standby mode. The display quality is also very good.

We got sharp and clear output for all kinds of output, whether it was running regular apps or watching movies. We tested it using a SiS Xabre graphics card with 64 MB VRAM. The monitor supports a maximum resolution of 1024x 768, and has a single standard analog connector for the PC. There’s no digital signal output. One drawback is that you can’t tilt the monitor horizontally. You can only tilt it vertically from —5 to 20 degrees. The maximum horizontal and vertical viewing angle of the monitor is 160 and 150 degrees respectively. The display quality is consistent across all viewing angle, except for a slight reduction in brightness at high viewing angles. The monitor’s On Screen Menu is well-designed and very easy to use. You can also set the monitor with its best settings automatically by just pressing the Auto button in the screen Section of the OSM. You can also select from three pre-defined brightness settings and one user-defined setting. Plus, there’s a utility CD that can be used to configure the display settings.

A good buy given the great looks, good display quality, and low power consumption.
